Step 4 of 17: Reload the Landing Door and Prepare Its Profile Group

PL3.4: Reload, check the result and prepare the Profile Group

Written by Alexandra Göttert

Prerequisites

  • Understood what each of the three key 3D parameters of the shaft door controls, and assigned new values to them.

Steps

1.) Reload your edited landing door in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Reload the component so you can check the new landing door dimensions you filled in as parameters in the database.

2.) Create a new Profile Group in DigiPara Liftdesigner Datamanager. A profile group table for your new landing door is created automatically, based on the RID number of the complete landing door (DT_RID). This table is where you'll assign the additional profiles you design for your door in the next step.

3.) Close the new, empty profile group window. Once the profile group table exists, close the empty operation window.

4.) Fill down the profile group RID for all door widths. Click in the box with the existing DD_PG_GRP RID number, hold Shift, click in the last box under the DD_PG_GRP column, and use Fill Down to apply the profile group to every door width row.

5.) Reload again. Reload your edited landing door in DigiPara Liftdesigner again to transfer the new information from the database

Result

The landing door's new dimensions are visible in Liftdesigner, and a profile group is prepared and linked to every door width, ready to hold the new profiles you'll design next.
