1.) Load your edited car frame in DigiPara Liftdesigner. Open the Select Product dialog (or the equivalent component navigator) and load the car frame you copied and renamed.

2.) Load the Developer Work Area via the BIM Component. Select the car frame in an existing view frame and click Develop this BIM Component on the Develop BIM Components ribbon tab. This opens the Developer Work Area, and the corresponding developer <code>.dwg</code> file with explanations about the car frame's parameters loads automatically alongside it, split across the component's developer sections.

The car frame is open in the Developer Work Area, with its reference documentation loaded, ready to have its geometry modified.
