As you may already be aware, the Render Network Foundation transitioned its native token from RNDR (an Ethereum-based ERC-20 token) to RENDER (a Solana-based SPL token) last year. This upgrade aims to leverage Solana's faster transaction speeds and lower fees, aligning with the Render Network's growth objectives.
Below are the key dates and changes to be aware of if you were holding RNDR on Coinmetro.
What You Need to Know
π On May 21 at 10:00 CET:
All RNDR deposits, withdrawals, and trading on Coinmetro were disabled.
The RNDR token is no longer supported on Coinmetro.
π On 6th June:
All Coinmetro users holding RNDR had their RNDR balances converted automatically to the new RENDER token at a 1:1 ratio.
RENDER trading was enabled on Coinmetro.
π Coming in the next few days:
RENDER deposits and withdrawals will be enabled.
Thanks for your understanding and patience while we work hard to properly implement the new RENDER token.
β What do I need to do as a Coinmetro User?
No action is required on your part. We'll handle the entire transition, so all you need to do is sit back and relax.
