"Invalid token selected, please cancel and try again" when confirming a withdrawal

Learn what to do next if you see the error message when trying to confirm your withdrawal in the email.

If you click "Confirm withdrawal" in your withdrawal email and see "Invalid token selected, please cancel and try again," learn why and what to do next.

Why this happens

Every withdrawal request comes with its own confirmation link, and that link is only valid for 1 hour. You'll see this message when the link can no longer be used. Usually that's because:

  • The link has expired. Confirmation links are valid for 1 hour after you request the withdrawal.

  • The withdrawal was cancelled. If you cancelled the request in your account, including by accident, its email link stops working.

  • You clicked an email from an older request. If you've made more than one withdrawal request, make sure you're using the email for the latest one.

What to do next

Check your withdrawal status. See How to check my withdrawal status.

If it's pending, your withdrawal is already confirmed and on its way. You don't need to do anything else.

If it's awaiting email confirmation and the "confirm withdrawal" button in the email isn't working, cancel your withdrawal first.
