What to do if your Cloudbet account has been compromised

Learn what to do immediately if your Cloudbet account has been compromised.

Updated yesterday

We take the security of your account seriously. If you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, or that your email address has been hacked, act quickly with these step below.

1. Change your password immediately

If you can still log in, change your password immediately. If you can't log in because your password has already been changed, reset your password immediately.

2. Secure your email address

Your email account is the key to your account. If your email has been compromised:

  • Log in to your email provider and change that password immediately

  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your email account if you haven't already

  • Check your email's connected apps and remove anything unfamiliar

3. Enable or reset two-factor authentication

If 2FA is not already enabled on your Cloudbet account, turn it on now. This adds a second layer of protection so that even if someone has your password, they cannot log in without your device.

If your 2FA has been changed by an unauthorised party, contact customer support immediately.

4. Contact support

If you can't do any of the above, reach out to customer support as soon as possible.
