Check-ins are used to keep a short summary of a consultation. You can find these in the Portal's TLS. Clear.bio support allows you to configure how many check-ins are required for a patient. These check-ins represent the total number of (minimum) consultations the patient receives (for example, 12). These consultations are distributed over the entire treatment period (3 months).
The purpose of completing the consultation check-ins is to keep track of what the patient has been advised. These check-ins can be easily retrieved or copied to, for example, an EHR.
Please note that a completed consultation in the TLS is an internal memo and is not sent directly to the patient.
The check-ins are also included as notes in the patient file.
