Once the data point has been created you can then add data point history.

Select the “Start Entering Data Point History” button to launch the Enter Data table.

This launches the "Add Data" input table.

Type or select the date from the date picker you wish to enter a value against. Once a date is selected you can then type the value in the next column.

You can also paste data directly into the date and value columns from an external spreadsheet. Simply copy the data you want to add to a data point from the spreadsheet.

NOTE: Ensure that you have copied the timestamp and the value column and that the timestamp column has the correct format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm. Do not include the header row.

Simply click into the first "date" cell and paste your data using cmd+v (Mac Users) or ctrl+v (Windows Users).

Note: An error will occur when "adding to preview" if the date format is not correct.

Once you have entered all of the data you plan on saving you can select the “Add to Preview” button.

This adds the data to the data point history table. Each new row will be shown to be a New Value in the Action Description column of the table.

You can then save the history by clicking on the “Save Data Point History” button.

The newly added data will then be displayed in a history table and will also be visible to view on the chart above.
