Overview

Once the data point has existing data point history, it can then be edited or deleted. This is done from within the individual point-view screen.

Select the “Edit Data Point History” button to launch the edit mode.

The table will transform and give the end user new columns. The columns include "delete", "Proposed Value" and "Action Description".

Edit Data Point History

Edit an existing value by simply typing the new value into the "proposed value" column. The edited row will be highlighted and the new value displayed under the "proposed value" column, with the edit logged in the "Action Description."

Delete Data Point History

The user can delete a value by clicking on the bin icon on the left of the row. The row will be highlighted and marked for deletion. This will remove this date and value from the data point history, but only after the changes have been saved.

Note: This cannot be undone. You can add the data point history again via the "Add Data" table if necessary.

Once all edits and deletes have been made the user can then click the "Save Data Point History" button to save the changes.

Once this is clicked the table will revert to the read-only version.
