Getting Started

Go to your Glidepath Settings under the 'Opportunities' menu. Here, you will see a list of all sites, each with a Carbon and Energy resource option. Sites with a green 'Configured' status tag have already been set up and can be edited. Sites without this tag need to be configured.

Click on the site name and resource you wish to configure, which will bring you to the first step of the Configuration flow.

Note that you can switch between resources by clicking the 'Carbon,' or 'Energy,' tabs at the top of the form.

Each of the fields in Step 1 are explained below;

Baseline

Your Baseline is a Datasource selected from a list of available Datasources, and should represent a standard year of operation for your site. This drives your timeline, and helps summarise your progress in your Glidepath.

The datasource will have the relevant 'Carbon Baseline,' or 'Energy Baseline,' tag applied once it has been selected. If these tags have already been applied in the 'Attributes,' section of the application, the Baseline will be pre-filled with this automatically.

Actual Emissions/Actual Energy

Datasources tracking actual progress towards your targets can also be added to your Glidepath. This will add the relevant 'Actual Carbon,' or 'Actual Energy,' tag to the Datasource. These datasources provide real-time tracking of your site’s performance.

Baseline Period
This is a reference point in the past with which current and future emissions and energy consumption will be compared. Select the relevant month and year in which your Baseline data beings, and we will automatically project this 12 months into the future. Ensure that the selected period is representative of typical site operations.

Description

Add an optional description of how your Baseline was derived, such as the data collection methods, any assumptions made, and why this period was chosen as the baseline. This helps other users understand the setup when viewing the settings for your Glidepath, and is useful for maintaining transparency and consistency in data interpretation.
