SEU Metrics dashboards display information from a range of SEU level metrics that are configured in the system. These metrics can be displayed in a Global SEU Metrics Dashboard which aggregates information from across all sites, or a Local SEU Metrics Dashboard which displays site metric data for a single site. You can learn more about SEU metrics here.
Global SEU Metrics Dashboard
The Global SEU Metrics dashboard displays SEU Metrics from all of the Sites within a selected time period. Please note that the metrics for a SEU are only displayed in this board if the associated Asset Attributes have been tagged with the relevant SEU Metric Tags, and the Asset has had its Energy User Category specified under the General Tab of the Asset configuration screen.
Overview
The Global SEU Metrics dashboard is composed of sections which groups together associated SEU Metrics. Each section consists of Headline Figures representing the global total (for summed metrics) or average (for calculated metrics) for the SEU Metrics in the section. These Headline Figures include a count of how many site's are included in the figure (as only sites with appropriately tagged attributes are included).
This is followed by a SEU Metrics Table which tabulates each individual SEU's value for each metric. The table cells have a heat map applied to highlight the highest value within any given metric. If no asset attribute is tagged for that metric, the cell will be empty with a white background. The tables are sortable by clicking on the headers. The bottom row of the table shows the global sum/average of the values in the table. The table can be hidden by clicking the β-β icon in the upper left, before the table name.
Expanding a Headline Figure or clicking a figure in a table cell opens up a metric details modal providing more details for the metric. For global metrics, the modal shows the total value of the metric, along with the history of the sub-values that are combined to calculate the metric.
For local metrics (i.e. for a given site), the modal shows the history of just that site.
All metric details modals allow for the time range being reviewed to be changed and also allow for the site being reviewed to be changed.
The following are the sections displayed in the Global SEU Metrics dashboard.
Global Dashboard Sections
The Global Dashboard is split into the following sections.
Filters
The Global SEU Metrics dashboard can be filtered by date range and by site group. The date range filter allows the user to select the date range for the metrics they wish to view, while the site group filter allows the user to view the metrics for a sub-set of sites as defined by a Site Group.
Energy Consumption
Displays the total Energy Metric value for each SEU configured.
Modelled Energy Consumption
Displays the total Modelled Energy Metric value for each SEU configured.
Operational Drift
Displays the average Operational Drift Metric value for each SEU configured.
Product Out
Displays the total Product Out Metric value for each SEU configured.
Energy Intensity KPI
Displays the average Energy Intensity KPI for each SEU configured.
Local SEU Metrics Dashboard
The Local SEU Metrics dashboard displays SEU Metrics for the site within a selected time period. Please note that the metrics for a site are only displayed in this board if the associated Asset Attributes have been tagged with the relevant SEU Metric tag.
Overview
The SEU Metrics dashboard starts with an overview of all SEUs. The top row of the dashboard displays Headline Figures for the following;
Total Energy: The total of all energy consumed on the site.
SEU Energy: The sum of energy consumed by SEUs.
Non-SEU Energy: The amount of energy consumed by devices not associated with an SEU. This is calculated by subtracting the SEU
Total Mass (or Volume or Area): The output produced by the SEU
Total Energy Intensity: The amount of energy consumed per unit of production.
In addition to the headline figures the overview section also displays a pie chart breaking down the energy usage by SEU category and a combo chart displaying the history of energy consumption for each SEU.
Below the overview section, the dashboard displays a section for each configured SEU category on the site. This section includes Headline Figures representing the following;
<SEU Name> Energy: The total energy consumed by the SEU.
<SEU Name> Model Energy: The energy modeled for the SEU.
<SEU Name> Operational Drift: The difference between the modeled and consumed energy.
<SEU Name> Production: The amount of product output from the SEU.
<SEU Name> Energy/Production: The amount of energy consumed per unit of production.
The per SEU section also includes a pie chart of the energy consumed within the SEU Category broken down by asset. This section also shows a combo chart of the history of energy consumption by each asset within this SEU Category.
