Site Metrics dashboards display information from a range of site level metrics that are configured in the system. These metrics can be displayed in a Global Site Metrics Dashboard which aggregates information from across all sites, or a Local Site Metrics Dashboard which displays site metric data for a single site. You can learn more about site metrics here.

Global Site Metrics Dashboard

The Global Site Metrics dashboard displays Site Metrics from all of the Sites within a selected time period. Please note that the metrics for a site are only displayed in this board if the associated Site Attributes have been tagged with the relevant Site Metric Tag.

Overview

The Global Site Metrics dashboard is composed of sections which groups together associated Site Metrics. Each section consists of Headline Figures representing the global total (for summed metrics) or average (for calculated metrics) for the Site Metrics in the section.

This is followed by a Site Metrics Table which tabulates each individual site’s value for each metric. The table cells are colour coded (grey for consumption/emission and purple for production), with a heat map applied to highlight the highest value within any given metric. If no site is tagged for that metric, the cell will be empty with a white background. The tables are sortable by clicking on the headers. The bottom row of the table shows the global sum/average of the values in the table. The table can be hidden by clicking the “-” icon in the upper left, before the table name.

Expanding a Headline Figure or clicking a figure in a table cell opens up a metric details modal providing more details for the metric. For global Metrics, the modal shows the total value of the metric, along with the history of the sub-values that are combined to calculate the metric.

For local metrics (i.e. for a given site), the modal shows the history of just that site.

All metric details modals allow for the time range being reviewed to be changed and also allow for the site being reviewed to be changed.

The following are the sections displayed in the Global Site Metrics dashboard.

Global Dashboard Sections

The Global Dashboard is split into the following sections.

Filters

The Global Site Metrics dashboard can be filtered by date range and by site group. The date range filter allows the user to select the date range for the metrics they wish to view, while the site group filter allows the user to view the metrics for a sub-set of sites as defined by a Site Group.

Site Inputs & Outputs - Totals

If the relevant site input and output tags are applied to site attributes, the Site Input & Outputs - Total section displays the following Site Metrics:

  • Main Electrical Energy

  • Main Gas Energy

  • Other Fuel Energy

  • Total Energy

  • Product Out (Mass)

  • Product Out (Volume)

  • Floor Area

Site Emissions - Totals

If the Scope 1 Emissions and Scope 2 Emissions are applied to site attributes, the Site Emissions - totals section displays the following Site Metrics:

  • Scope 1 Emissions

  • Scope 2 Emissions

  • Scope 1 & 2 Emissions (automatically calculated from the Scope 1 Emissions and Scope 2 Emissions Metrics)

Energy Intensity KPI - Averages

The Energy Intensity KPI section can be displayed in up to three forms, depending on the quantity of the attribute the Product out/Floor Area tag is applied to (i.e. Mass, Volume or Area). In general the section will be displayed with the following Site Metrics:

  • Main Electric Energy/Product out

  • Main Gas Energy/Product out

  • Other Fuel Energy/Product out

  • Total Electric Energy/Product out

Site Model

If the Model Electric Energy and Model Gas Energy tags are applied to site attributes, the Site Model section displays the following Site Metrics:

  • Model Electrical Energy

  • Main Electricity Energy / Model Electricity Energy

  • Model Gas Energy

  • Main Gas Energy / Model Gas Energy

Local Site Metrics Dashboard

The Local Site Metrics Dashboard displays site metrics for a selected time period. Please note that metrics for a site are only displayed on this board if the associated site attributes have been tagged with the relevant site metric tag.

Overview

The Site Metrics Dashboard comprises sections that group together associated site metrics. Each section consists of headline figures, pie charts, and combo charts.

Expanding any of the chart types opens a metric details modal providing more details for the metric. For local metrics, the modal shows the total value of the metric, along with the history of the metric.

All metric details modals allow the time range being reviewed to be changed and also permit changes to the site being reviewed.

Local Dashboard Sections

The Local Dashboard is split into the following sections.

Site Inputs & Outputs - Totals

If the relevant site input and output tags are applied to site attributes, the Site Input & Outputs - Totals section displays the following site metrics as headline figures:

  • Product Out (Mass)

  • Product Out (Volume)

  • Floor Area

  • Main Electrical Energy

  • Main Gas Energy

  • Other Fuel Energy

  • Total Energy

Energy Breakdown

This section displays a breakdown of each energy source that is tagged for the site. These are then displayed in the following charts:

  • Energy Sources Breakdown: A pie chart showing the breakdown of energy usage by energy type.

  • Energy Sources History: A combo chart showing the history of energy usage by energy type overlaid on top of the total energy usage.

Energy Intensity KPI - Averages

An Energy KPI section is displayed for each of the tagged Electrical, Gas, Other Fuel, and Total energy types for each of the tagged production types. Each section contains the following charts:

  • Energy type/Production type: A headline figure of the average energy/production KPI for each energy and production type, e.g., Electrical Energy/Production.

  • Energy KPI history: A combo chart showing the history of the Energy KPI, the energy usage, and the production metric, e.g., the Electrical Energy/Production KPI, the Electrical Energy consumption history, and the production history.

Site Emissions - Totals

If the Scope 1 Emissions and Scope 2 Emissions tags are applied to site attributes, the Site Emissions - Totals section displays the following charts:

  • Total Emissions - Scope 1 + 2: A headline figure of the sum of the scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.

  • Emissions Breakdown: A pie chart showing the breakdown of scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.

  • Emissions History: A combo chart of the history of the scope 1, scope 2, and scope 1 + 2 emissions.

Operational Drifts

If the Model Electric Energy and Model Gas Energy tags are applied to site attributes, the Operational Drift section displays an Electrical Operational Drift sub-section and a Gas Operational Drift sub-section, each with the following charts:

  • Model <Energy Type> Energy: A headline figure showing the total modeled energy consumption for the given energy type.

  • <Energy Type> Operational Drift: A headline figure showing the operational drift for this energy type (the deviation between the model energy consumption and actual energy consumption).

  • Model <Energy Type> vs Main <Energy Type>: A combo chart comparing the modeled energy consumption vs the actual energy consumption for the energy type.
