Egypt ACI pricing

Updated over a week ago

ACI fees are paid by the exporter and consist of:

  • ACI filing fee:

    • For maritime shipments, the fee is 160 units (π•Œ).

    • For air shipments, the fee is 80 units (π•Œ) per ACID number; this reduced rate applies from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026.

The ACI filing fee is charged once per ACID number. This means that even if you are asked (or need) to amend or resend your ACI filing at a later point, you will not need to pay another ACI processing fee.

  • Document transfer fee: the cost is 3 units (π•Œ) per document, but will never amount to more than 15 units (π•Œ) regardless of the number of the documents included within the envelope with a specific ACID number. Even if you send more than 5 documents in the same ACI filing (same ACID), you will not pay more than 15 units (π•Œ) for document transfer.

Note

Note that you only pay the blockchain document transfer fee if you are uploading documents to the blockchain. It is always free of charge to forward documents already received through CargoX (the document's blockchain fee was paid for by the original sender).
