European companies that have VAT numbers from other EU member states can now configure those within their CargoX account. When your Egyptian importer enters new shipment information into NAFEZA in the process of obtaining a new ACID number, your multiple VAT numbers will be referenced to NAFEZA.
Warning
Your primary VAT number needs to be verified before you can add more VAT numbers.
To add an additional VAT number:
1. Start adding the additional VAT number
Click on the gear icon (⚙) | Tax settings and click on the gray Add VAT number button.
2. Add the additional VAT number
Enter your VAT number (in the format FR123456789 = country identification code + numbers, without the spaces or any other characters)
Choose the location from the dropdown menu
Click on the green Add button to complete the process

Your additional VAT number will be verified in a similar process as when verifying the primary VAT number. You can add as many additional VAT numbers as needed.
