What if we miss a connection due to a delayed service?

If reservations aren’t required:

  • Take the next available train and update your Rail Planner app with the new service.

If reservations are required:

  • Speak to station staff, who will usually reissue or endorse your reservation for the next available train under the HOTNAT (Hop On The Next Available Train) scheme.

  • Don’t forget to update the app with the new departure time, and you’ll be all set to continue your journey.
