Getting your data out: Email, SFTP, Webhooks, and Alerts

Every way to get data out of Insights — scheduled delivery, alerts, and on-demand export.

Insights can push your dashboards and tiles out on a schedule, alert you when a metric changes, or export on demand. Scheduled deliveries and alerts are set up from File → Deliveries & Alerts; one-off exports from File → Download.

Scheduled deliveries

Open File → Deliveries & Alerts and create a delivery in Schedule mode. You choose:

  • What to send — the entire dashboard or a single tile.

  • DestinationEmail, Amazon S3, SFTP, or Webhook.

  • When — Now, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom; pick the days, time, and timezone.

Use Test now to send a test before saving. (Deliveries are approximate and arrive within about 15 minutes of the set time.)

Which destination to use:

  • Email — for stakeholders who work from their inbox.

  • SFTP — scheduled CSV files for a downstream BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau (there's no native API connector, so SFTP is the supported route).

  • Amazon S3 — deliver files to an S3 bucket for your data pipeline.

  • Webhook — push to an external system for real-time integrations (for example, Slack via Zapier).

Alerts

In the same New delivery panel, switch to Alert mode to be notified when a metric crosses a threshold — useful for response-time targets, occupancy drops, or sentiment shifts.

Manual export (on demand)

For a one-off, use File → Download and choose a format:

  • PNG (Image)

  • PDF

  • XLSX (Excel)

  • CSVs (in a ZIP file)

You can also expand tables, arrange tiles in a single column, hide the title, or show the current filter values in the export.
