In Bookboost, guest profiles store key contact details that help your team stay connected and personalise every interaction. This article explains what profile information can be edited and how to manage it effectively.
Main Concept
Each guest profile in Bookboost contains contact information that can be updated at any time. The editable fields are focused on the essentials: name, email address, and phone number.
Use Cases
Correcting a guest's name after a misspelling at check-in
Adding a secondary email address for a guest who uses multiple accounts
Storing multiple phone numbers for a guest (e.g. mobile and office)
Updating contact details when a guest provides new information
Configuration and Setup
Navigate to the Profiles section from the left-hand menu.
Search for and open the guest profile you'd like to edit.
Click on the profile to open the detail view.
Under the General Info section, you can edit the following fields:

⚠️ Please note: You can only edit these fields if the profile information has not been synced from your PMS. If the data comes from an external sync, the fields will be locked and you will see the message: "You cannot edit externally synced info."
Known Issues or Limitations
Only name, email, and phone fields are editable within a profile — other profile data cannot be manually modified.
Profile fields synced from the PMS cannot be edited directly in Bookboost.
There is no limit on the number of additional email addresses or phone numbers you can add to a profile.
