A guest writes in asking about parking, and you already have a Journey with all the arrival details in it. Rather than retyping it, you can send that campaign straight to them from the conversation. It only works while WhatsApp's 24-hour window is open, and only for campaigns whose templates Meta has already approved.
Sending a campaign from a conversation
Open the Inbox and click the conversation with the guest.
Click the guest's name at the top of the chat to open their profile on the right.
In the guest profile, click Send Journey.
Select the campaign you want from the list.
Choose WhatsApp as the channel and the right language, then send.
The WhatsApp 24-hour rule
WhatsApp only lets you message a guest freely for 24 hours after their last message to you. This is Meta's rule, not Bookboost's, and it applies to every WhatsApp integration.
The guest has to have written to you first.
You can send within 24 hours of their most recent message.
Once the window closes, sending from the Inbox is not possible, even with an approved template.
What this does not do
You cannot edit the message here. The campaign has to be built and approved under Journeys first. The Inbox sends it as it is.
Only approved templates appear. Campaigns without an approved WhatsApp Message Template are not in the list at all.
The 24-hour window cannot be extended. Nothing in Bookboost reopens it. The guest has to message you again.
If something is missing
The campaign I want is not in the list. Check that it exists under Journeys, that it uses an approved WhatsApp template, and that it supports the language you selected.
The send button is greyed out. The 24-hour window has almost certainly closed. Check when the guest last wrote to you.
What to do next
See WhatsApp across the guest journey for how the 24-hour window shapes your campaign planning.
