The Care Assistant access level allows caregivers to administer approved items (e.g., creams, ointments) outside the Atlas eMAR app.
Permissions include:
Restricted Atlas Device use
Witness new user additions
Review resident information
View MAR charts
This access level can be assigned or updated in Atlas Central by Home or Deputy Managers.
Care Assistant Items
The add/edit drug screen (device and Atlas Central) now includes an option to mark items as Care Assistant administered.

A new “Care Assistant” tab will appear on the resident medication screen. Users can record administrations but cannot edit these items.
