You can use any image scanner to generate the image of a prescription, and then email individual or multiple documents to your dedicated CAPA email address.

1. Scan the prescription image

2. Save the document as a PDF and attach to an email

3. Send the email to your dedicated CAPA email address (you can find this at the top of your "Prescriptions" menu in CAPA)

Tips

  • Always ensure you save the images in PDF format otherwise they won't come through

  • Give some thought to the images after you have emailed them - they contain personal data so it is advisable to delete the electronic copy after CAPA has received them

  • You don't need to add text or a subject line to the email, CAPA ignores this text

  • If you experience problems sending an email, you can always fax the prescriptions to CAPA
