Primo error "Cannot communicate with the scanner"

Problem Description:

When you have logged into the Primo's windows log in and have attempted to run the Primo application, there is a displayed error cannot communicate with the scanner.

Symptoms:

Root Cause:

The scanner is not connected to the Primo device or the scanner has not been turned on.

Fix/Workaround:

1. Check the scanner is turned on. If the device has been turned off switch it on, select cancel on the screen and attempt to run the Primo application as normal.

2. If the scanner is turned on, check all wires are connected securely from the scanner to the device, if any appear lose secure the wire, select cancel on the screen and attempt to run the Primo application as normal.
