Drug Changes

The drug changes screen has been designed to allow you to view the changes made to your residents medication.

Changes to medication are available to view at any time and by anyone with the relevant access, the change log audit details the following information;

  • The name of the resident

  • The drug/item name

  • The status of the drug/item

  • The current dosage information/instructions

  • The date the change took place

  • Details of who made the change

  • An image of the prescription, if the change has been made by the pharmacy

To view the drug changes follow this process;

1. Log in to Atlas Central and click audit then click the drug changes option.

2. Changes made in the Care Home will display the nurses name who made the change and the nurse who witnessed the change. Changes made by the pharmacy will state "prescriber" and gives the option to view the prescription that the change has been actioned from.

To view the prescription click details located on the right-hand side of the screen next to the pharmacy staff name as displayed below.

The image of the prescription used to make the change will be displayed with details of all the drug/items and the current dispense allocation.

Tips

  • You are able to use the search bar to narrow down the information you are looking for, simply type in the name of the resident or drug you are looking for.
