In the event that a residents patch should need to be reapplied you are able to record this on Atlas eMAR, account for applying a new patch and ensuring that all stock records are kept up to date appropriately.

To account for reapplying a patch follow this process;

1. Log in to your Atlas device, locate and view the residents medication list.

2. Find the item you require to apply again, this item should be displayed in green as it has already been applied.

3.Select the arrow on the drug view then click details.

4.Click edit drug, then select the Schedule option. The day currently selected will need to be unselected BEFORE the new relevant day is selected. Once completed, save the changes.

5. Return to the drug details screen and Click adjust next due, then select the relevant date and patched removed.

6.Type the reason for the patch reapply e.g Fallen off, then select ok. This will record a note against the item to note why the item is being reapplied.

7. The item will then display in red again to allow for you to account for applying the second patch.
