You can either sign up for a new ApprovalMax account (SSU) or log in to an existing one (SSO). Make sure the email address used with your identity provider matches the one in ApprovalMax.

This is how you sign in to ApprovalMax with your Google account (SSO):
Go to the ApprovalMax Login page
Click on Sign in with Google:
If you're not logged in to your Google account, you'll be prompted to do so. Your browser will redirect you to a Google login page. Select your account or enter your Google credentials. Your Google password will not be shared with ApprovalMax.
Congratulations! You are now signed in to your existing ApprovalMax account via SSO.

If you're currently not logged in to your Xero account, you’ll be redirected to the Xero login page. Enter your Xero credentials and log in. Your Xero password remains confidential and is not shared with ApprovalMax.
Once your Xero user identity has been confirmed, grant ApprovalMax permission to access your basic profile details and email address.
Congratulations! You are now signed in to your existing ApprovalMax account via SSO.
Please note: Single sign-on will not work when you use different email addresses for your ApprovalMax and Xero accounts.

Grant ApprovalMax access to your profile and Organisation:
Once authorised, your ApprovalMax account will be created using your Xero email address. Just follow the Account Creation wizard to enter the required information:
Please note: If you're starting a new trial and your Xero Organisation is already connected to ApprovalMax, or if you choose to deny access during sign-up, the trial account cannot be created automatically. In this case, you'll need to complete the setup manually. For guidance, refer to the article on how to set up a trial manually.
QuickBooks Online (SSO)

This is how you sign in to ApprovalMax with your QuickBooks Online account (SSO):
Go to the ApprovalMax Login page
Click on Sign in with Intuit:
You’ll be redirected to the Intuit login page:
Enter your Intuit credentials and confirm two-factor authentication. Your Intuit password will not be shared with ApprovalMax.
Grant ApprovalMax access to your profile:
Congratulations! You are now signed in to your existing ApprovalMax account via SSO.
Please note: Single sign-on will not work if you have different email addresses for your ApprovalMax and Intuit accounts.
QuickBooks Online (SSU)

This is how you sign up to ApprovalMax with your QuickBooks Online account (SSU):
Go to the ApprovalMax Sign-up page
Click on Sign in with Intuit:
You’ll be redirected to the Intuit login page. Enter your Intuit credentials and confirm two-factor authentication. Your Intuit password will not be shared with ApprovalMax.
On the screen for "Allow ApprovalMax to use your profile information", click on Authorise. This grants ApprovalMax access to your name, email, phone number and business address.
Once authorised, ApprovalMax will use your QuickBooks Online email address to register your account and prompt you to complete the setup via the Account Creation wizard.
Please note: If you're starting a new trial and your QuickBooks Online Organisation is already connected to ApprovalMax, or if you choose to deny access during sign-up, the trial account cannot be created automatically. Please note: If you choose to use SSO, you won't be prompted to set up 2FA, irrespective of whether or not it is mandatory. Also, if you have enabled 2FA and use SSO, you can skip entering a 2FA code. 2FA is mandatory for all Xero users due to Xero requirements.
