How to create a NetSuite Sales Order in ApprovalMax

ApprovalMax supports both the creation of Sales Orders directly in the app and the automatic pulling of Sales Orders that were created in NetSuite.

This is how you create a Sales Order in ApprovalMax

  • In the main menu, go to Workflows and settings > Approval workflows and open the Sales Order workflow:

  • In the Create in ApprovalMax section, click on Add a Requester and select the Requesters who should be able to create Sales Orders:

  • Open the Requester matrix and define the field conditions for the Sales Orders each Requester can raise. For each field, choose whether requests apply to any value or specific values, or exclude certain values:

  • Click on DONE to save your settings:

  • Once all Requesters and permissions are set, activate or update the workflow:

  • Now, to create the Sales order, click on +New Request:

  • Select Sales Order and click on Create:

  • Once all mandatory fields are filled in, click on Submit for approval:

  • Once submitted, the Sales Order will follow the defined approval workflow. From this screen, you can also copy, edit or even cancel the Sales Order as needed:
