Q. Why can’t I delete pages in Panorama?

A. Panorama uses your space permissions to decide what actions you can perform in any space. If you can’t delete a page inside a specific space, you won’t be able to delete a page inside the Panorama control panel either. Only Confluence Admins and space admins can change your space permissions.

Q. Why can’t I archive a page in Panorama?

A. There are a few things to check if you are unable to archive a page from the Panorama control panel.

  • Is the page a draft?
    You cannot archive drafts.

  • What type of page are you trying archive?
You can only archive basic pages, you can’t archive whiteboards, folders, etc.

  • Do you have permissions to archive in the space?
Panorama uses your space permissions to decide what actions you can perform. Only Confluence Admins and space admins can change your space permissions.

Q. Can I delete a page that has restrictions on it?

A. Page restrictions limit who can view or edit a page. The ability to delete a page is controlled by space permissions. You can delete any page in a space, regardless of page restrictions, as long as you have been given permissions to delete pages in that space.

Q. Why aren’t the pages displayed in the same order as in the space?

A. If you have applied any filters or sorted the page, they will no longer show in the same way. This is because there may be pages excluded by the filter, or the sorting may not match the order of the pages in the space. Once you clear all filters and sorting your pages will display in a page tree matching the space.

Q. If I am working with many spaces do I have to wait for them all to load before I can get started?

A. As soon as the first space has loaded you can get started. The rest will load in as you work. This lets you get to work faster, and is especially useful when you are adding an especially large space to your control panel.
