The Companies section is where Explorer truly shines. It helps you deep dive into known & discover new competitors, and analyze performance trends — all in one place. Here’s how to make the most of it.

Suggested analyses

1. Start with Pre-Made Lists

When you open the Companies view, you’ll find pre-made lists tailored to you.
These lists are automatically generated based on your industry and your previous context within the platform.

💡 Example:

In the Bakery industry, you might see a list of 207 companies that includes:

  • Key peers selected for your account

  • New entrants rapidly approaching your market

  • Industry giants with the largest net sales

These lists give you a strong starting point to explore your competitive landscape.

Filter and Customize Your View

Once you have your list, you can apply filters to surface the most relevant insights.

Filter companies by:

  • EBIT or EBITDA, both as percentages and absolute values

  • Filing year (e.g., focus only on companies that filed in 2025)

You can also customize your table view — show or hide columns such as financial indicators or expected updates, depending on what’s important for your analysis.

2. Create Your Own Lists

You can also build custom company lists to focus your analysis.

  • By known competitors: Add the companies you already track.

  • By tags or categories: Use filters such as product group, segment, or business type.

  • By geography: Narrow down by city, region, or country.

💡 Example:
If you’re analyzing the bakery sector and only want to see bread producers, simply filter by the “Bread” product group. The platform will instantly create a new list — in this case, 83 companies that produce bread

4. Look into Company Profiles

Click on any company to open its overview page.
Let’s take Aryzta, for example — an industry giant in the bread category.

Each company page has three main sections:

  • Profile – basic information, product lines, known locations, and strategy highlights (with source links).

  • Performance – detailed financial trends, performance highlights, and comparisons to your selected peer groups.

  • Pulse – recent news, earnings updates, and key events.

The overview tab gives you a quick summary of all three — perfect for a fast snapshot

6. Stay Updated with News section

Finally, the Pulse section keeps you informed.
Here you’ll find:

  • News and updates from across your industry

  • Earnings reports analyzed at company level

  • Tags to filter by topic, such as M&A, market dynamics, or product launches

It’s your go-to source for real-time signals and trends that matter most

🚀 Summary

Explorer’s Companies feature gives you a powerful, flexible workspace to:

  • Discover and organize key players

  • Analyze performance over time

  • Stay on top of industry developments
