What Happens After You Submit Your SlothMove?

Just submitted your SlothMove? Learn what happens next, from confirming details to signing your LoA and processing your address updates.

Congratulations on completing your SlothMove! 🎉 You’re now on your way to a hassle-free move. But what happens next? This guide outlines the key steps after submitting your form, ensuring you stay informed at every stage of the process.


1️⃣ Email Confirmation & Creating Your Dashboard Login

As soon as you complete your SlothMove form and payment, we’ll send you a confirmation email. This email will include:


✅ A confirmation that we’ve received your address update request.
✅ A link to create your SlothMove Dashboard login.

🔑 To create your account, simply follow the link in your email, and it will take you to a password creation page.


Alternatively, you can visit the SlothMove Dashboard here and enter the email address you used to complete your SlothMove. The system will prompt you to create a password.

Check your junk!

If you didn't see your SlothMove email, be sure to check your junk folder.

If you don't see it, let us know and we'll investigate for you 😊


2️⃣ Confirm Your Details

When you log in for the first time, we’ll ask you to check and confirm your details (such as your name and address).

⚠️ Why is this important?

  • If your details are incorrect and updates are sent out, we cannot recall them.

  • This is especially critical for DVLA updates, as your driving licence or vehicle documents could be sent to the wrong address.

If anything is incorrect, make changes before confirming to avoid any issues.

3️⃣ Complete Your Supplier Portal

Once you confirm your details, your Supplier Portal will load. This contains additional questions we need to process your updates, such as:

📅 Date of Birth

🚗 Driving Licence details

🪪 National Insurance Number

Good to know: We only ask for the information required for the updates you selected, and it will only be sent to the relevant organisations.


4️⃣ Sign Your Letter of Authority (LoA)

You’ll receive an email with a Letter of Authority (LoA) to sign. This is required for most updates and ensures we have permission to update your details on your behalf.

📩 How to find your LoA email:

  • Search for "Letter of Authority" or "LoA" in your inbox.

  • Check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see it.

Before signing, double-check your details again—this is the last chance to correct any errors before updates are processed.

5️⃣ We Process Your Updates

Once your LoA is signed, we’ll begin processing your updates!

🕒 Updates are sent in line with your move date, for example:
📅 DVLA updates (Driving Licence & V5C) are held until your move-in date to ensure important documents are sent to the correct address.
📅 HMRC updates can be sent weeks in advance to ensure a smooth transition.

You’ll be able to see your updates in your dashboard once your Supplier Portal is completed.
