How to Amend Candidate Details in Online Services.

It's important to note that if you do not have the Utilities folder on your account, you will need to contact your Centre Coordinator to request permission to be added to your account.

To amend learner details in Online Services, follow these steps:

Go to the Online Services navigation menu and select "Utilities".

From the available tiles, select "Amend Candidate Details".

Then use the "Selection Criteria" to search for your learner and press "Search"

The leaner registration will now appear in the search results.

Select the learner you would like to amend the details for and select "Show Details"

You will now be able to carry out the changes to the appropriate fields in the "Update Candidate Details" screen

Then press "Save"

Once the changes have been save you will have received confirmation at the top of the screen to confirm the changes have been saved successfully


For a learner registration, you are able to modify the following details:

  • One permitted change of up to 3 characters per learner name including the first name, middle initial and surname.

  • Gender.

  • The day and month of a date of birth.

Please note that if you need to change the year of birth or more than 3 characters of a learner name, you should contact the Customer Experience Team with valid ID or a college enrolment form for the learner that shows the correct details.

It is important to keep in mind that if a learner has already been certificated, you will not be able to make any changes to their details. In this case, please contact the Customer Experience Team for further assistance.
