When an exam is no longer needed you will need to void or cancel it.

If an exam has been scheduled to take place on a date further away than 5 days, then it will be showing in the Schedule Screen exclusively until 5 days before the exam. In this instance you will be able to modify the exam or delete it.

If the date of the exam that has been booked is due to take place within the next 5 days then you will be able to see the booking in the Invigilate Screen. For these exams, the only option is to void them, and you will then be able to re-book them for a date of your choice.


Modifying or deleting an exam from the Schedule Screen

If an exam has been scheduled to take place more than 5 days in the future, then locate the exam in the Schedule screen.

To change the date of the exam or other details, you will need to highlight the exam and click the ‘Edit Test’ button at the bottom of the screen and confirm your action.

If the exam is no longer required then you will be able to simply delete the booking. You will need to highlight the exam and click the ‘Delete Test’ button at the bottom of the screen and confirm your action.


Voiding an exam from the Invigilate screen

You should void any exams that are not required or if you wish to remove the exam for any reason.

You are required to void all downloaded exams that have not been used.

To void an exam, go to the Invigilate screen of Surpass, click on the exam you wish to void and highlight the row gold. You will need to highlight the exam and click the ‘Void’ button at the bottom of the screen and confirm your action.

CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN VOIDING EXAMS AS THIS IS PERMANENT

Please ensure that if you are voiding any exams in the Invigilate screen that show the Awaiting Upload status (with the icon below) that the learner hasn't started the exam, or that their responses have simply failed to upload due to a connection issue.

Please check with the invigilator responsible for that exam date to double-check details for that particular learner.

Any voided responses will be no longer be available and we will be unable to retrieve them.
