Learner Certification

All units in light green are ‘Registered’ units for the learner. Even if a unit is not registered, you can still claim it if the learner has achieved it and it meets the rule of combination. *Additional fees may apply.

If a unit is in dark green, this means the unit has already been claimed and you will not be able to claim it again.

All valid certificate claims will generate an e-Certificate within 1 working day, which can be downloaded from the e-Certificate tab.

If you do not have direct claim status you can still process the claim in Online Services however please note a certificate will not be generated until your External Quality Assurer (EQA) has released the certificate.

If the ‘Add to Basket’ button is greyed out, this means two centre user IDs have accessed the same learner or you have been in and out of the learner profile in quick succession. This automatically locks the screen. This security measure prevents the same learner from being claimed by different users. Please allow 20 minutes before claiming the certificate again. The claim will automatically unlock after this time.

If you need to RPL a unit which includes an online exam from another EAL qualification but the learner has not been certificated, you can use the learner CQN and exam date in the RPL fields.

Before claiming a unit, ensure that the learner has completed all components required to complete the unit, including online exams.

If you do not have the Reg/Cert tab, please contact your Centre Coordinator who will be able to assign this permission to your account.
