From 15 December 2025, all EPA Knowledge Test bookings and invigilation arrangements will be controlled exclusively by EAL’s Operations team.
Centres/Training Providers are not permitted to book assessments directly through Surpass or use their own invigilators. These controls ensure that EPA assessment delivery is consistent, secure, and under the direct oversight of EAL as the EPAO.
Booking Process:
All bookings must be submitted at least five working days before the intended assessment date.
Requests must be made by email to epaoperations@eal.org.uk.
Each booking must include:
Apprentice's full name
Centre/Training Provider name
Apprenticeship standard
Name of the knowledge test
Exam location
Preferred date and time
Any confirmed Reasonable Adjustments
