Every apprenticeship standard comes with an assessment plan that sets out what an apprentice must achieve before they can progress through the gateway. ACE360 makes it easy for training providers to upload and securely store gateway evidence for each apprentice, keeping records organised and accessible.
Where to Find Gateway Requirements
Gateway requirements are specific to each standard and are shown within every apprentice’s ACE360 record. These outline the components that must be completed and evidenced before moving on to End Point Assessment.
How to Upload Gateway Evidence
Access the Apprentice Profile
Go to the apprentice’s record in ACE360 and click on Component Details on the left-hand side.
Upload Your Evidence
Use the Upload Evidence button to add achievement evidence for the relevant gateway component. You can either upload files one at a time or drag and drop several files at once.
Confirmation of Upload
After uploading, a small blue clipboard icon will appear next to the relevant component, showing that evidence has been attached.
Managing Uploaded Files
Once evidence has been uploaded, you can:
Add or change notes for each file
Download individual files or select Download all evidence for latest attempt to get all uploaded documents for review
View documents within the platform
Remove files if needed
These functions make it straightforward to review and confirm gateway readiness for each apprentice.
Shared Documents Area
Every apprentice record also includes a Shared Documents tab. This is where providers and EPAOs can upload and access important documents such as:
Declarations
Additional evidence
Learning support documentation
To add a document here, simply click Upload Document. Uploaded files appear as icons and can be downloaded or deleted as needed. The shared documents area is accessible throughout the apprentice’s progress (even when a record is locked for End Point Assessment).
