The error message ’Keycode Invalid: test code does not exist’ indicates that SecureClient is failing to communicate correctly with Surpass.

Please ensure you are using the EAL version of SecureClient when trying to run the online exams.

If the EAL version is the one being used, then the fix would be to reinstall the software on the exam station affected.

When reinstalling the software, please ensure a fresh installer of the software is used, which can be downloaded from the link below:

If the steps above do not resolve the issue, please call EAL on 01923 652400 and ask for a member of the Exams Team so we can look into this for you and advise further. Please have the following information ready:

  • Candidate name

  • Candidate number

  • Exam code
