Background
As we prepare for the upcoming version upgrade migrating customers from Cloudia to Mercell Tendering (MT), it is highly important to prepare your ongoing work.
During the upgrade process, in-progress notices (draft tenders) will not be transferred to the new platform. However, templates will be migrated.
To ensure you do not lose any of your work, you must convert any active draft tenders you intend to publish into templates before the version upgrade occurs. Once the upgrade is complete, you will find your saved templates in the new Mercell Tendering (MT) platform and can continue your work from there.
Step-by-Step Guide: Converting a Draft to a Template
Please complete the following steps in your current Cloudia environment before the scheduled upgrade.
Step 1: Locate your Draft Tenders
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on the In-Progress (Keskeneräiset) folder to view your list of draft tenders. Click on the specific draft you wish to save.
Step 2: Copy to Template
Once the tender information page opens, look at the action menu on the right side of your screen (Toiminnot) and click Copy to template (Kopioi mallipohjaksi).
Step 3: Configure and Save the Template
A pop-up window will appear where you need to enter the template details:
Name: Give your template a recognisable name.
Description: Entering a description is mandatory.
Sharing Settings: Because this is specifically being saved to transfer your own draft over during the update, we recommend selecting Do not share (Ei jaettu).
Click Save (Tallenna).
Accessing Your Draft Post-Update
Once the version upgrade to Mercell Tendering (MT) is complete, your saved templates will be waiting for you.
To pick up where you left off:
Log in to the updated Mercell Tendering (MT) platform.
In the left-hand navigation menu, click on My Templates (Omat mallipohjat).
3. Locate the template you saved prior to the update.
4. Once selected, you can now continue with the template to generate a new notice and continue your work without losing any previous progress!
