How do I link a debit card?

Add up to three debit cards to Zilch.

You need to link a debit card to your account to start making purchases with Zilch. You can do this in the app:

  • Open the Zilch app

  • Go to My Account

  • Go to Zilch account details

  • Select Connect debit card

You'll use this card to pay for:

Linking more than one card

You can link more than one debit card to your account and change your default card whenever you like.

To do this:

  • Go to Account

  • Select Connected debit cards

  • Swipe until you see the option to Add debit card

  • Enter the new card credentials

  • Select Add debit card

My debit card won't link

If you're having issues linking your debit card successfully, please check the following:

  • Your card isn't expired

  • Your card is registered to the same address as your Zilch account

  • You're not trying to link a credit, pre-paid or corporate card

Can I link a card from a joint account?

Yes, you can, but the debit card must be your own and show your name (you can't link your partner's card).

Can I change my linked debit card?

You can change your card any time, but just so you know, we'll place a block on your account if your debit card is changed too often – this is to keep your account safe from suspicious activity.

My debit card is frozen, can I still use Zilch?

If your debit card is frozen, you won't be able to use Zilch with that linked card. However, if you link a new debit card or select a new card and set that one as your default payment card, you will be able to continue to use Zilch.
