How do I turn off Auto Top-Up?

Auto top-up is an important feature for pay-as-you-go cover. We recommend that it remains in place for all of our delivery customers for the following reasons:

  • If your balance drops below £0, your cover will be paused until you top up your balance.

  • If this happens whilst you’re working, you would no longer be legally covered for hire & reward purposes.

  • This means that you would not be linked to your work provider, you would not be able to provide proof of cover if stopped by the police, and you would not be able to make a claim if you were involved in an accident.

Every time you start a shift, your Zego balance should be above £10 to help reduce the risk that you’ll run out of credit whilst you are on the road.

Auto top-up removes the hassle of topping up yourself, automatically taking the agreed amount from your payment card when your balance drops below £10.
