If you want to cancel your policy from your renewal date, you should first check if you have auto-renewal switched on or off.

If you have the Zego Sense app, tap ‘Policies’ at the bottom of the screen, followed by pressing ‘Policy details’ on your policy.

Here you’ll be able to see if it is on or off. If auto-renewal isn’t available on your policy, you won’t see the auto-renewal option.

For 30-Day policies

What if my auto-renewal is switched on?

With auto-renewal switched on, your policy is set to automatically renew when you get to your renewal date.

However, you can switch auto-renewal off by changing the position of the toggle button to off.

Please note, if you’re in the last 3 days of your policy, you won’t be able to change the status of your auto-renewal.

If you need to turn it on or off within the last 3 days, you’ll need to speak to a member of our team to help.

What if my auto-renewal is switched off or I don’t have an option for auto-renewal?

When you get to the end of your policy, we will send you your renewal quote.

Unless you follow the instructions on your renewal email to go ahead with it, your policy will end on the expiry date.

This means that you don’t need to do anything if you do not want to continue your cover with us.

For Annual policies

When you get to the end of your annual policy, we will send you your renewal quote.

Unless you follow the instructions on your renewal email to go ahead with it, your policy will end on the expiry date.

This means that you don’t need to do anything if you do not want to continue your cover with us.

For Pay-as-you-go policies

With Pay-as-you-go cover, you don’t have a renewal date so you can cancel from any time.
