If you admitted fault at the scene of the accident but now believe you were not at fault, it’s important to let us know as soon as possible. An admission of fault at the scene doesn’t automatically determine liability for the claim. We will carry out a full investigation, considering all the evidence, including witness statements, photos, dashcam footage, and police reports, before making a decision on liability.

It’s best to avoid making any admissions of fault at the scene of an accident. Instead, focus on gathering information and letting your insurer handle the investigation.
