Yes, in the case of OMI Organized Market instruments (Stocks and ETFs) listed in a currency other than the currency of the investment account, currency conversion takes place.

All currency conversions resulting from transactions and corporate events on OMI and Fractional Rights in the Client's investment account are subject to a margin of 0.5% of the XTB Exchange Rate . The fee is debited from the Investment Account at the time of the Transaction or on the date of settlement of the corporate event.

🚩 It's worth remembering that due to currency conversion, the profit on a position immediately after opening it may be negative , even if the share price hasn't changed significantly. Additionally, the negative balance may also result from the spread applied when opening the position.

Example:

Opening a long position in Shares or ETFs, ETCs, ETNs (OMIs) quoted in EUR on the Client’s Account in USD will be subject to currency conversion using the XTB Exchange Rate, according to the following formula: ask EUR/USD+0.5%*mid.

Short position: bid EUR/USD-0.5%*mid.

🚩It is not possible to transfer an open position on CFD instruments to another XTB account held in a different currency. Only OMI instruments (Shares and ETFs) can be transferred between XTB investment accounts.
In such a case, a transfer commission of 0.5% of the purchase transaction value per ISIN applies (no less than: 25 EUR / 25 USD / 100 PLN / 650 CZK / 8,500 HUF / 120 RON).
