At XTB, we continually strive to protect your data and funds. In response to growing cybersecurity challenges, we're introducing a key new feature to the XTB mobile app: call verification via push notifications. Thanks to this solution, you can be absolutely certain of who you are talking to, and the handling of your request becomes faster and more convenient.

What does the new feature mean for you?

1. Gain confidence that you are speaking with an official XTB representative

When receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be an XTB employee, you can easily verify their identity. Simply ask the consultant to send a push notification directly to your XTB app. If it is really us, the notification will immediately appear on your phone screen.

2. Instant identity verification – without unnecessary questions

Traditional verification often required answering several security questions. Now, you can shorten this process to a minimum. Instead of answering questions, simply approve the push notification in the XTB app to securely and instantly confirm your identity.

What to do if the push notification does not arrive?

If the consultant states that they have sent the notification, but you do not see it on your phone's home screen, please follow these steps:

  • Open the XTB app on your device.

  • Go to the following section: ProfileSecurityCall Verification.

Please remember: If you have any doubts regarding the caller's intentions, and the push notification does not appear in the designated section of the app, please hang up immediately and contact our official support department.
