On the STANDARD account, most instruments are transaction-free; however, please note the following important fees:
✅ Regulated Market Instruments (OMI - Stocks and ETFs) and Fractional Right Instruments - a 0.2% transaction fee (minimum 10 EUR) only applies when the total accumulated sales in a month exceed 100,000 EUR. If you do not exceed this limit, OMI instruments are completely free of transaction fees!
✅ Currency Conversion of Transactions - if your account has a different currency than the currency of the selected instrument, both the profit from the position and the transaction fees (applicable to OMI instruments and Fractional Right Instruments) will be converted to your account currency at the XTB exchange rate.
All currency conversion transactions arising from trades (opening and closing orders) and business events for OMI and Odd Shares instruments on your account are subject to an additional 0.5% of the XTB exchange rate. This fee is charged from your investment account at the time of the transaction or on the date the company event is resolved.
✅ Swap - Some CFD instruments are subject to overnight swap fees. Swap fees are added or subtracted from your account at midnight each day in CET/CEST time at a certain rate published weekly. In some cases, the technical process for calculating swap fees/financial costs may not occur precisely at midnight - but will fluctuate between 23:59 and 00:01.
✅ Account Management Fee? Only applies if the account is inactive for an extended period!
A monthly fee of €10 will be debited from your trading account if the following two conditions are met: a) no positions have been opened or closed in the previous 365 days; and b) no funds have been deposited into the account in the previous 90 days.
This fee will be deducted from the account's idle funds after conversion to the account's currency. If the account does not have sufficient funds to cover the fee, it will not be charged. If you are holding an open position, the fee will also not be charged.
