How to close an open position on the XTB mobile app?
In mobile app:
First, go to "Portfolio" (menu at the bottom of the screen) → "My Trades". Select the CFD instrument you want to close. Then scroll down to see all open positions for that instrument. Select the desired position and press "Close ".

How do I close a position on the web platform?
Go to the "Open Positions" tab at the bottom of the screen and select the position you want to close. Then, click the red X button next to the selected position.
🚩 Closing a CFD position can be either a Sell or a Buy – depending on how the position was opened, as closing is the reverse operation. This means that if you have a Buy (long) position in a CFD (forex, index, or commodity), it will be closed by Selling. Conversely, if you have a Sell (short) position, it will be closed by Buying.
