For regulatory reasons, XTB can only accept deposits from payment cards that belong to the owner of the trading account. Card registration is a simple process that enables quick and convenient payments.
Payment Card Verification – How to Proceed?
To register a payment card, open the Portfolio tab in the mobile app, select Add Money → Payment Card, and then click Add new card.
To verify the card, you need to provide a photo or scan of the card. The image must show the first and last four digits of the card number (the middle digits should be covered), the expiration date, and the name of the cardholder.
What should I do if I want to deposit funds using a payment card that was successfully added, but the payment cannot be completed?
In this case, please open the mobile app, tap the green “Add card details” option, and re-enter the required card details.
What should I do if my card does not display my first and last name, or if it is a virtual card?
If your payment card does not display the cardholder’s first and last name, or if you are using a virtual card, you need to provide additional confirmation from your bank stating that you are the cardholder.
The same applies to virtual cards - in this case, it is also necessary to submit confirmation of the card’s issuance and your ownership of the card.
How can I remove my payment card or set it as invisible?
If you would like to remove your payment card or simply hide it, the process is very straightforward. In the mobile app, tap “Manage cards”.
You can then remove the card by clicking the trash bin icon, or move it to the Invisible section by tapping the “crossed-out eye” icon.
If a crossed-out eye icon is displayed next to the card, it means that the card is set as invisible. To make the card visible again, simply tap the crossed-out eye icon and the card will reappear in the list of available payment cards.
All of the above steps related to registering a payment card, removing it, or managing its visibility can also be performed directly from the Investor Profile section.
