How to Close a Position in Stocks or ETFs (OMI) on the Web Platform?

  2. Select the company whose shares you want to sell.

  3. If you want to sell all stocks, click the red X on the right side of the row.

🚩 Important Information About Closing OMI Positions (Stocks and ETFs):

  • Standard OMI investing involves purchasing shares or ETFs, and the position is closed by selling them.

  • You can close the entire position or only part of it by specifying the number of instruments you want to sell.

  • The transaction is executed at the current market price (or according to the parameters of the selected order type).

  • The FIFO (First In, First Out) rule applies — if you hold multiple lots of the same instrument, the ones opened earliest are closed first. This means you cannot choose a specific lot to close; the system automatically settles the transaction according to the order in which the positions were opened.
