How to set a price alert?
Price alerts allow you to automate the process of being notified when a price reaches important levels for the investor, without having to spend the whole day in front of the computer or phone screen.
Setting up alerts is very simple. In the mobile app, just go to the selected instrument and, after scrolling down, click the plus sign in the "price alerts" window.
In the web version of the platform, a price alert can be set in two ways:
Right-click anywhere on the chart and select "Price Alerts" from the dropdown menu,
Click the dollar icon at the top of the platform, where you can also add a new alert.
A notification window will appear.
Once the notification window is displayed, the user can set a new alert by choosing the symbol of the instrument they are interested in, the specific price (BID or ASK), and the conditions that must be met for the alert to be activated. The investor can also add their own comments. After saving the configuration, the new alert will appear at the top of the list of price alerts.
Can I view a list of all set price alerts?
In the mobile app, there is currently no single place where you can see a list of all set price alerts. Alerts can only be viewed from the level of a specific instrument - after entering its view, they appear at the bottom of the screen.
In the web version, full access to the list of alerts is available - it is located under the dollar icon at the top of the platform. Here, the user can see both active and already triggered alerts.
What happens after a price alert is triggered?
After the alert is triggered:
In the mobile app, the user receives a push notification, and the alert automatically disappears from the instrument's view.
In the web version, a pop-up notification appears in the top right corner of the screen, and triggered alerts remain visible in the list until the page is refreshed - after the refresh, they are removed.
🚩 Price alerts are displayed only on the platform. There is no option to set notifications in the form of emails.
How to modify or delete price alerts?
On the mobile platform:
In the mobile app, price alerts can be deleted directly from the instrument's view. Alerts appear at the bottom of the screen, and next to each one is a trash can icon. Just click on the icon to delete the alert.
On the web platform:
On the web platform, modifying a price alert is simple:
You can change its value by dragging the alert line directly on the chart.
To delete an alert, just click the "x" next to the alert line visible on the chart.
The web version also allows you to delete alerts from the full list, available via the dollar icon at the top of the platform.
