Salesforce sales cloud integration

Updated over a week ago

The Salesforce sales cloud integration enables you to seamlessly transfer lead data collected through Experiences by Jebbit directly into your Salesforce sales cloud account. This integration streamlines your lead management process by automating data flow between platforms, ensuring timely and accurate lead capture.

The Lead/Contact fields in SFSC are mapped to your Jebbit mapped attribute IDs and the values passed for these attributes.

Before you begin

  • Confirm you have administrative access to your Salesforce sales cloud account.

  • Possess the necessary permissions to create and manage integrations within Experiences by Jebbit.

  • Identified the specific fields in Salesforce that you wish to populate with data from your experience.

Create a Salesforce Sales Cloud integration

Follow these steps to securely provide Experiences by Jebbit with access for the integration.

Create a connected app in Salesforce

  1. Create a Connected App in Salesforce.

  2. Enable OAuth Settings for API Integration.

  3. Select the following OAuth Scopes:
    a. Access and manage your data.

    b. Allow access to Lightning applications.

    c. Perform requests on your behalf at any time.

  4. Under IP Relaxation, choose Relax IP Restrictions.

  5. Under API Settings, copy and save the following details into a .txt file:

    • Consumer Key

    • Consumer Secret

    • Callback URL

Create an API User for Experiences by Jebbit

  1. Create a user in Salesforce with the email: integrations@jebbit.com

  2. Navigate to Setup > Manage Users > Profiles.

  3. Open the new user's profile and click Edit.

  4. Under Administrative Permissions, check API Enabled.

  5. Assign the following permissions to this user's profile: Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, and Modify All on all standard and custom objects.

Provide data mappings

  1. Aside from email, choose the Jebbit attributes you want to send.

  2. Specify the Salesforce Object (Lead or Contact) and Salesforce Field for each attribute.

  3. Note that Lead and Contact objects have their own unique fields.

  4. Indicate whether you're collecting EU, Non-EU, or both data types.

Add your credentials in the platform

Once you have the required credentials and endpoint details, add them directly to your integration in the platform.

Note: All integration credentials are now managed directly within the platform. From the Integrations module, you can name your integration, enter the required credentials, and configure your field mappings — no file submission required.

Next steps

  • Our integrations team will be notified once your integration is configured, and will be in contact regarding timelines and testing.
