At Wilson Alarms, we aim to keep our pricing fair, transparent, and sustainable, while ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards of service and reliability that our customers expect.
📅 Annual Review
We review our maintenance and monitoring prices once per year, typically in the spring.
Any adjustments usually reflect inflation and cost-of-living changes, such as increased fuel, materials, or insurance costs.
We benchmark our prices against the wider fire and security industry to ensure they remain competitive and consistent.
⚖️ One-Off Adjustments After Acquisitions
When we acquire another alarm company, we sometimes discover that their pricing differs significantly from ours — often due to years without review.
In these cases, we make a one-off “right-pricing” adjustment to bring legacy customers in line with Wilson Alarms’ standard pricing.
This ensures all customers receive the same level of service and support at a consistent rate.
It also allows us to continue investing in engineer training, monitoring technology, and rapid response infrastructure.
📨 How You’ll Be Notified
We don’t issue sudden or surprise price changes.
You’ll always receive your renewal invoice approximately one month before your contract is due to renew.
This invoice serves as formal notification of the price for the next 12-month period.
You’ll have time to review, ask questions, and decide whether to renew.
💡 Why It Matters
Regular price reviews mean:
We can maintain 24/7 engineer support and fast emergency callouts.
Your system continues to be serviced to NSI Gold standards.
We can pay and retain highly skilled engineers to deliver safe, compliant work.
✅ Summary
Prices are reviewed annually and usually increase in line with inflation.
