Wilson Alarms has grown steadily by acquiring local security firms and customer contracts across the Midlands. Below is a timeline of our major acquisitions and takeovers:

Moore Security Systems client base

Wilson took over Moore’s client base, expanding its reach in the local area.

A1 Fire & Security Solutions contracts

In September 2023, we took over selected domestic and commercial fire & security contracts from A1 (excluding Local Authority clients) in the Grantham area.

Integra Technology Solutions Ltd

Apollo Investment Holdings (parent of Wilson Alarms) acquired Coventry-based Integra, which was later integrated with Wilson Alarms, adding CCTV, access control, and intruder detection expertise.

2024

Bar Alarm Security Systems Ltd (Nottingham)

In February 2024, we announced the acquisition of Bar Alarm, adding its customer base in Nottingham and reinforcing our presence there.

Alarmcall Ltd (Nationwide Alarmcall contracts)

In October 2024, we acquired the monitoring/maintenance contracts from Alarmcall Ltd in Nottingham.

2025

Rainbow Security Systems Ltd

In early 2025, we acquired Rainbow Alarms (Northampton area), bringing their customers and operations into the Wilson Alarms network.

2025

Elite Security Services Ltd

In September 2025, Wilson Alarms acquired Elite Security, expanding further in the Derby/Nottingham region and strengthening overall coverage.


Each acquisition has been handled with a priority on continuity of service:

  • Existing contracts remain valid, with no disruption in maintenance or monitoring.

  • We retain or transition staff to maintain local relationships.

  • Customers benefit from Wilson’s broader engineering network, resources, and NSI Gold-level standards.
