At Wilson Alarms, we stand behind our work. Below is a summary of how our warranties and guarantees operate. Always refer to our full Terms & Conditions for all legal details.

🧰 What’s Covered

  • We provide a warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for systems we install.

  • If a fault arises due to a defect (and not due to external causes), we will repair or replace the affected components under warranty.

🚫 What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not apply in cases where the fault is caused wholly or partly by:

  • Misuse, neglect, damage by the customer or a third party.

  • Alterations, tampering, or repairs by anyone not authorised by Wilson Alarms.

  • Fair wear and tear, or defects in parts not supplied by us.

  • External factors like fire, flood, storm damage, acts of vandalism, or other events outside our control.

  • Failures due to lack of maintenance in breach of contract terms.

⏱ Duration & Terms

  • The warranty is valid for 1 year (as set out in the contract or installation agreement).

  • The warranty is only valid while the system is used in accordance with its specifications and subject to regular maintenance.

⚠ Legacy or Special Contracts

  • For legacy or special maintenance agreements (e.g. Comprehensive Maintenance / Plan B / Plan C / Silver / Gold plans), additional warranty-like cover may be provided under those terms (e.g. inclusive repairs or consumables).

  • However, where those contracts expire or are replaced, standard warranty terms will apply going forward.
