If your Huel discount code isn't working on a subscription order, there's usually a simple fix: your subscription may already have a code attached that needs to be removed first.
Additionally, Huel discount codes may not work if they have expired, if the pre-tax subtotal does not meet the minimum requirement, or if another discount code is already applied.
Step 1: Check what code is currently on your subscription
Log into your Huel Account at huel.com
Go to Subscriptions
Select the subscription you want to update
Look for any discount code currently applied — it will show in the subscription details
If there's an existing code showing, that's likely what's blocking your new one.
Step 2: Remove the existing code
Click the X next to the existing code to remove it from your Huel subscription.
Step 3: Apply your new code
Enter your new promo code in the discount field and confirm it's applied before proceeding.
Step 4: Bring your renewal date forward (if using a time-limited offer)
If your Huel promo code is tied to a specific campaign window, make sure you bring your next renewal date forward to before the offer deadline. You can do this from the same subscription page.
Ensure that your pre-tax subtotal meets the minimum threshold required for the Huel discount code to apply.
If you have a recurring discount (Blue Light / First Responder, NHS / Medical, Student, etc.)
Your recurring Huel discount code is safe to temporarily remove. Here's the recommended order:
Remove your recurring discount
Apply the promo code
Bring your renewal forward and let the order process (as the promo code will have an expiration date)
Once your Huel order has gone through, remove the promo code (it will likely have expired anyway)
Re-add your recurring discount code for all future renewals
Your ongoing Huel discount isn't lost — you're just stepping it aside for one order.
